Meet David Zumaya
David has a long history of working with the community. With career experience with nonprofit and business organizations. Photography and marketing have been the foundation of his experience. The last ten years have focused on digital marketing including returning to school for a master’s degree in internet marketing and teaching college business courses. David is active in the community and is a member of many local chamber of commerce and business associations. He has been awarded serval community awards for “Volunteer of the Year”, “Chamber Member of the Year”, and “Business Community Member of the Year”
Working with the community is what led to the creation of “Cafecito” business networking groups in 2016. Supporting the North County community is what led to the creation My San Diego North County social media channels and the North County Business Expo. The goal has been to bring the various San Diego North County cities, communities, businesses, nonprofits, and events together to one online community. David continues to focus on bringing together communities and there are more projects coming soon.

2022 Escondido City Map
The 2022 Escondido Map features Escondido's finest businesses and organizations. Thank you to everyone for supporting the project. The first 10,000 maps were the centerfold poster of the Escondido Magazine. The Escondido Times Advocate printed the map poster on the full back page of the spring issue. The Map poster were handed out at the Spring Escondido Street Festival. Almost 20,000 copies have been printed and distributed, and more coming. We plan to update the map for 2023.
